Distance Learning

The distance education portion of the MHS-CL program consists of courses that are provided via web based tools; streaming media, video conference, interactive presentations and asynchronous learning modules. Each is used in varying degrees for different courses. Course reading is supported and supplemented by moderated threaded discussion boards and reflective essays. Participants interact with one another in these forums to build a learning community that bridges the physical distance.

"Standard clinical training doesn't include leadership training and more and more emphasis is now put on the ability to manage. For clinical leaders to succeed, they must be able to organize and mobilize. This program provides just that."
